The movie punish and then laughs at it.Three men discover that meddling in their sister-in-law's love life only makes their own lives more complicated in this romantic comedy. Eva gave up a lot to care for her sisters, so its hard to let go of her family. She is too noisy and seems to want to control everything, but when you look at the surface she is a carrying person that wants to be loved. Its a sad scene because Eva isnt really a bad person. What is worse, the sister's give in to their husbands! One agrees to have a kid, another lets her husbands ignorance ruin her and the other marries the jerk that ignores her. The messed up part is, their not really punished! Eva apologies to them! She says she is sorry and then brings her sister's back to make up with them. But.its weird because these men aren't great husbands, their horrible men. The film plays it as a joke, like we are suppose to be laughing the actions of these men. This results in the men faking his death so that she can take a job in another state. After they are in a relationships and Eva has calmed down, she tells her sister about her love and the sisters see the bad qualities of their husbands from the reflection that they see in Eva's relationship. Long story short, Eva falls for the guy, the guy falls for her and they fall in love. So one day, after the husbands are defeated by Eva, they hire a guy to date her to make her happy because they think she needs sex to be fixed. And through out the entire movie these husbands are so upset because they can't get their wives to do what they want, which is basically submit to their whines. The final one is just a jerk that seems to be annoyed when his wife tries to do school work. One is an acholic (well, not one but its hinted that he may become one) that wants to have a baby, because that isn't a tied down to a relationship! Another one doesn't pay attention to his wife and seems to ignore her sometimes. The husbands of her sister are.just cruel.
So her character is very worry some of her sisters and at times pry into their marriage. Eva was 18 when it happened, I am not sure how old her sisters were but being the oldest they were probably still minors. In the story Eva has been caring for her sister for a long time since her parents died, which was a young age. But if you look closely, she's not wrong to do so. Eva basically talks down on her sister's husbands and at times gets into their relationships. But rewatching it again as an adult, I come to realize that Eva isn't really the main villain of the movie, rather its the husbands.īefore I go on, Eva does have bad qualities to her character, but if you compare it to the husbands she isn't so bad. I thought she was a bully to everyone but her sisters and that she needed to calm down.
